Countries, including Russia, the United States, Iran and Turkey, disagree over the classification of certain groups as moderate or extremist opposition elements.
"We are a production of the Vienna [negotiations] and [UN Security Council] resolution 2254, so we are legitimate… Because we are legitimate, we have sovereignty. We don't accept any modification of our delegation and we don't accept a third party, " Monzer Makhous told journalists commenting on the delegation formed by Russia and Egypt.
Monzer Makhou also said that the participation of Syrian Kurds in the Geneva peace talks should be discussed after Syria's humanitarian issue is resolved.
"This is the next problem after we resolve the humanitarian problem," Monzer Makhous said asked about the participation of Kurds in the ongoing talks.
