MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Police continue manhunt for an armed man who ran into the campus of Oklahoma Baptist University (OBU) in Shawnee, prompting a lockdown, the university said Monday.
Shawnee PD believes subject no longer in area. Lockdown lifted. OBU officials recommend staying inside. Bldgs other than res halls locked.

The man, identified as Brice Winrow, is still at large. Police said he is armed and dangerous. They tried to detain the 32-year-old after he was reported for reckless driving. The van he was driving was reportedly stolen and the suspect attempted to get away on foot.
University buildings other than residence halls continue to be locked, but the security perimeter has been lifted.
