A heartbreaking video was uploaded showing a raccoon trying to wake up his friend who was hit by a car on the road.

Some scientists commented on the video that the animal may really have felt grief or emotions after his friend, possibly his partner or parent, was lying motionless on the highway. Others said it looks more like an expression of aggression by the animal.
