MOSCOW (Sputnik) – There should be no discussion on including Kurdish organizations considered terrorists to participate in the February 11 Support Syria Group meeting in Munich or in the intra-Syrian reconciliation talks, Turkish Ambassador to Russia Umit Yardim said.
“It’s known that representatives from Syrian Kurdish groups are present among the opposition in planned talks between the Syrian regime and the opposition. Turkey supports efforts directed at a political solution [to the crisis] and believes that during those negotiations terrorist groups active in Syria such as Daesh, Jabhat [Front], Nusra Front, and the [Kurdish Democratic Union and those affiliated with it] should not have a place ther,” Yardim told RIA Novosti in an interview.
