"We hope to start as early as tomorrow, immediately after the meeting, decisions will be taken to roll the aid in, especially to besieged areas that need it," Fawzi told reporters at a weekly briefing.
The UN's Task Force on Humanitarian Access in Syria is expected to meet in Geneva at 15:00 GMT to agree on steps to ensure immediate access to civilians in besieged and hard to reach areas.
The announcement of new deliveries follows a potentially breakthrough declaration of "cessation of hostilities" in Syria starting next week, after major stakeholders and organizations met late Thursday in Munich.
The International Syrian Support Group (ISSG), in a communique announcing the "cessation," calls for humanitarian access to be provided swiftly to all besieged areas in Syria.
Russia has also been assisting the Syrian population with humanitarian aid, and has served as an active mediator at the Syria talks in a bid to help facilitate a political solution to the five-year conflict.
