KIEV (Sputnik) — Kiev and Moscow will allow trucks stranded due to a traffic suspension to return to Ukraine and Russia, respectively, the Ukrainian Infrastructure Ministry said Tuesday.
"The Ministry of Infrastructure of Ukraine has reached an agreement enabling the return of Ukrainian trucks stranded in Russia or Asian countries due to the suspension of transit. In return, the Ukrainian side will allow Russian trucks returning home from EU countries to travel through Ukrainian territory," the ministry said in a statement.
All blocked cargo trucks in will be allowed to return to their respective countries on February 16-25.
