Epic Kite Surfing Crash
01:43 GMT 17.02.2016 (Updated: 01:46 GMT 17.02.2016) At a festival in South Africa an English kite boarder ventured to perform a ‘huge mega loop with a back roll’ move, lost control, and crashed into the sea from a 20 meter height, nearly drowning.
The 31-year old extreme sportsman hit the watery surface hard and lost consciousness. He spent a couple of minutes in the water before being rescued. Doctors reportedly put him into coma to save his life. He’s awake, thankfully, and is expected to make a full recovery.
