CAIRO (Sputnik) — Syria's opposition has benefited from Russian airstrikes against terrorists, a spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces said Wednesday.
"Our forces are benefiting from Russian airstrikes against terrorist targets. We are 'in the same trench' when it comes to fighting Daesh [Islamic State]," Talal Salu told RIA Novosti.
He noted that the Syrian Democratic Forces are not coordinating their efforts with the Russian side.
"We have no plans to unite neither with Russia nor with [Syrian] regime forces in the fight against terrorism. In this regard we cooperate with the [US-led] coalition," Salu said.
