The recently signed US-Jordan Cooperation Act facilitates sales of defense products and services from the United States to Jordan.

WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — President Barack Obama signed on Thursday the US-Jordan Cooperation Act that facilitates sales of defense products and services to the country for three years, according to White House press release.

“On Thursday, February 18, 2016, the president signed into law: H.R. 907, the ‘United States — Jordan Defense Cooperation Act of 2015’, which expedites the sale of defense articles and services to the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan for a period of three-years,” the statement noted.
