On Friday the photographers at AirPano presented a bona fide virtual tour of the Russia’s westernmost city of Kaliningrad, comprised of 26 aerial spherical panoramas.
However, it is just the latest addition to a vast collection of such tours created by the project.
Obviously, no tour of Russia would be complete without Moscow.
The same goes for the country’s so called 'cultural capital' of St. Petersburg.
The city of Grozny, with its Heart of Chechnya mosque is also a must-see place.
And after checking out Russia’s western reaches, why not take a look at its eastern boundaries at Sakhalin Island?
AirPano is a non-profit organization run by a small team of dedicated photography enthusiasts specializing in high-resolution panoramic images. There are about 3,000 spherical panoramas from over 300 locations all over the world stored on their website at the moment, making AirPano probably the largest resource of its kind in the world.
