With roughly two-thirds of precincts reporting, the media has declared Hillary Clinton the winner at 52.2 percent to 47.7 percent for Bernie Sanders, another close result.
"To everyone who turned out in every corner of Nevada with determination and heart: This is your win. Thank you," Clinton tweeted, shortly after Fox News and NBC News called the contest in her favor.

Clinton was once favored as the presumptive nominee for the Democratic Party until Senator Bernie Sanders joined the campaign and raced against her from the left of the American electorate. Nevada was once expected to seal her nomination but only before Clinton and Sanders came in at a virtual tie in the first primary contest of Iowa and Sanders won a sizable margin in New Hampshire.
