LONDON (Sputnik) – Addressing the Royal United Services Institute for Defense and Security Studies (RUSI) in London, Grushko outlined two factors that define Russian-NATO ties.
First, the alliance’s containment policy backed by its military buildup, which the Russian envoy said represents a real threat to Moscow’s interests. Second, NATO effectively breaking off all practical cooperation with Russia, he added.
Grushko added that Russia was ready to consider any new proposals should NATO revise its stance.
