MADRID (Sputnik) — Three people were detained in Ceuta, a Spanish autonomous city located in northern Africa on border with Morocco, and another one in the Moroccan city of Nador.
According to the Spanish Interior Ministry, purported Daesh recruiters are suspected of sending people to Syria and Iraq.
Daesh is a violent extremist group that seized large areas in Iraq and Syria in 2014 and is notorious for its many human rights atrocities. Daesh recruiters spread propaganda through social networks to persuade people, mainly youth, to join their ranks.
