MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Accusations that the Russian air force has allegedly carried out airstrikes on civilian facilities in Syria are unproven, Russia's EU envoy Vladimir Chizhov said.
"No single proof has been provided to corroborate allegations that Russian airstrikes have hit any medical facility or any educational facility," Chizhov told CNN on Thursday.

Russia has been conducting airstrikes in Syria against Islamic State (IS) and the Nusra Front, militant groups banned in Russia, at the request of President Bashar Assad, since September 30.
In October, US and Russian officials signed a memorandum of understanding concerning safety procedures for the two countries’ respective air missions in Syria to avoid any conflicts.
