MOSCOW (Sputnik) — "@HillaryClinton has won the South Carolina Democratic primary, CNN projects," CNN said on its Twitter account on Saturday.
Clinton's rival Senator Bernie Sanders has already congratulated the former US secretary of state on her victory in South Carolina.
During the campaign, Clinton has already won the primaries in Iowa and Nevada, while Sanders scored a victory at the same event in New Hampshire.
The US presidential election is scheduled for November 8, 2016.
