WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — US Defense contractor Lockheed Martin and Cybereason unveiled their latest real-time cyber detection platform on Monday in a bid to help customers deter a rising number of virtual attacks.
"Organizations will significantly benefit from the first solution to incorporate Lockheed Martin’s threat intelligence feed into an advanced EDR [Endpoint Detection and Response] solution," Cybereason CEO Lior Div said in a press release on Monday.
Cybereason’s behavioral analytics platform, which is designed to look for malicious operations, would identify the "five trace elements" of cyberattacks, including the timeline, root cause, adversarial activity, communication, affected endpoints and users.
In recent years, US businesses and government agencies have fallen victim to numerous cyberattacks from a variety of actors with criminal, economic or political motivations.
Earlier in February, US President Barack Obama asked Congress for a $19 billion increase in cyber security funding for his 2017 budget to help Washington counter cyber threats.
