WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The United States has seen a notable reduction of violence in Syria after the cessation of hostilities deal went in to effect, it has also seen a decrease in airstrikes conducted by Russia, US State Department spokesperson John Kirby stated in press briefing on Tuesday.
“We have seen a notable reduction in violence in Syria, and certainly there has been a reduction, there is no doubt about it, I mean the math just bears out there has been a reduction in Russian airstrikes in Syria,” Kirby said.
