BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — According to the Contact radio station, the railway stations will also be equipped with metal detector frames for checking passengers and baggage under the Belgian authorities' plan.
A total of 17 million euros ($18.4 million) will be allocated to implement the measures, Belgian Transport Minister Jacqueline Galant said.
Currently, the Belgian and French police already carry out joint patrols of international trains linking the two countries.
