On Tuesday, Trump again proved his dominance as the Republican Party’s presidential frontrunner after winning seven out of 12 states during the primary vote contest on Super Tuesday.
"I believe with all my heart and soul that we face another time for choosing, one that will have profound consequences for the Republican Party, and, more importantly, for our country," Romney warned. "If we, Republicans, choose Donald Trump as our nominee, the prospects for a safe a prosperous future are greatly diminished."
Romney also noted that the only serious policy proposals were coming from Republican candidates Ted Cruz, Marco Rubio and John Kasich, and urged Republicans to elect one of them as the party’s nominee instead of Trump.
"Here's what I know," Romney said. "Donald Trump is a phony, a fraud, his promises are as worthless as a degree from Trump University. He’s playing the members of the American public for suckers, he gets a free ride to the White House and all we get is a lousy hat. His domestic policies would lead to a recession, his foreign policies would make America and the world less safe."
