KIEV (Sputnik) – The Russian Embassy in Ukraine has issued a note of protest to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry in relation to an attack on Russian diplomatic staff vehicles parked near the embassy building, the embassy’s spokesman said Sunday.
Oleg Grishin told RIA Novosti that a group of unidentified persons clad in balaclavas and armed with baseball bats attacked parked cars near the Russian embassy in Kiev on the night of March 6.

"As a result, three diplomatic mission vehicles have been severely damaged. In addition, the assailants threw smoke bombs and flares at the embassy. The embassy sent a note of protest to the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry on a said incident," Grishin said.
He added that "the attack seems to have been carefully prepared and well-organized."
