WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — In Syria, coalition military forces conducted six strikes using attack and remotely piloted aircraft against Daesh targets, the release said.
“Additionally in Iraq, coalition military forces conducted 12 strikes coordinated with and in support of the Government of Iraq using attack, fighter and remotely piloted aircraft against the terrorists' targets.”
Sunday’s airstrikes in Syria were carried out near three locations, and destroyed five vehicles and a heavy machine gun.
Meanwhile in Iraq, the airstrikes were launched near ten sites including Mosul, al-Baghdadi, Sinjar, Ramadi, and Fallujah, which destroyed multiple Daesh fighting positions, a rocket rail, two tactical vehicles as well as a mortar position.
