PARIS (Sputnik) — Former French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius on Tuesday officially became the head of the country's Constitutional Council.
According to the BFMTV channel, a brief ceremony took place at the Elysee Palace this morning.
In early February, French President Francois Hollande held a government reshuffle, replacing four ministers, including the position of the French foreign minister — Laurent Fabius was replaced by Jean-Marc Ayrault, a former French prime minister.
Fabius served as the French foreign minister between 2012 and 2016.
