TOKYO (Sputnik) — The selection of the committee members is already underway, Kyodo news agency reported. The decision to form the committee was reportedly confirmed by Japan's Komeito party Secretary General Yoshihisa Inoue and President of the Liberal Democratic Party Sadakazu Tanigaki.

The issue is also being discussed with the opposition, the media reported.
In early February, the United States, Australia, Brunei, Canada, Chile, Japan, Malaysia, Mexico, New Zealand, Peru, Singapore and Vietnam signed the TPP agreement. Under the deal, a free trade zone was established between these 12 nations that constitute 40 percent of the world’s GDP.
The agreement is yet to be ratified by every participant.
