MOSCOW (Sputnik) — UK Prime Minister David Cameron said he would not resign if the UK nationals voted for the country to exit (Brexit) the European Union.
In response to a lawmaker's request to say whether the prime minister would resign in case of a Brexit, Cameron just said "No."
UK citizens are set to vote on June 23 in a referendum on the country's EU membership, after the UK prime minister and the leaders of the 27 other EU member states reached a deal in February to grant London a special status within the bloc.
