GENEVA (Sputnik) — The UN Human Rights Council's 31st session started on February 29 in Geneva and is scheduled to last until March 24.
"We need systematic, holistic and secular education based not on the religious dogmas but on evidences and a scientific research," the Dalai Lama said at the panel Nobel Peace Prize recipients discussion on human rights, which was held on the sidelines of the UN Human Rights Council's 31st session.
He stressed the need to spread the universal education system around the world.
"We have an ability to use our intelligence to spread and exchange knowledge through the entire human nation, particularly in today's world that faces globalization and where East depends on West and West depends on East," he added.
