Kansas City Police Chief Darryl Forte said police had to use short burst of fogger to disperse two large groups of demonstrators – over 200 people each – who were allegedly prepared to fight. He praised police officers for an "excellent preventive measure."

Just a day before, the billionaire businessman was forced to cancel a campaign rally in Chicago, Illinois, after thousands of his supporters and protesters clashed at the venue.
Trump has been widely criticized for his inflammatory rhetoric and controversial statements, including in relation to immigrants, particularly from Mexico, Muslims, and women.
