MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Ten people have been detained in Turkey's Sanliurfa province in connection with Sunday's attack. Earlier in the day, the authorities said they had identified one of the suspected suicide bombers – as female PKK member Seher Cagla Demir.
According to the Daily Sabah newspaper, the second suspect was a male Turkish citizen with links to the Kurdish militants.
At least 37 people were killed and 125 wounded at a bus stop near a central square in Ankara on Sunday. An official statement revealing the organization behind the latest attack is expected later on Monday.
Ankara has been carrying out a campaign against the PKK separatist group since the summer of 2015 following a deadly suicide attack in Suruc.
Earlier on Monday, Kurdistan National Congress spokesman Selahattin Soro said that the PKK was not complicit in carrying out the attack in Ankara but the blast may be used by the Turkish government as a pretext for interfering in the affairs of neighboring states.
