At least 37 people were killed at a bus stop near a central square in Ankara on Sunday. Turkish Health Minister Mehmet Muezzinoglu has stated that 125 were wounded in the latest attack, 15 of whom are in a critical condition.
"Preliminary findings show that the identity of the offender is Seher Cagla Demir. This information is near certain, but the investigation continues," a police officer was quoted as saying by the the Turkish daily Sozcu.
Demir’s identity was reportedly attained from "scrap parts of the body and fingerprints," the news outlet specified.
Ankara, which classifies the PKK as a terrorist organization, has been carrying out a campaign against the separatist group since the summer of 2015 following a deadly suicide attack in Suruc.
An official statement revealing the organization behind the latest attack is expected later on Monday.
