GENEVA (Sputnik) — The withdrawal of Russian forces from Syria is underway in full coordination with the Syrian government, the Damascus delegation head said Wednesday.
"Decision was taken jointly by [Russian President Vladimir] Putin and [Syrian President Bashar] Assad. It was not a surprise for us. Our allies came to Syria by a joint decision, and… they will leave through a joint Russian — Syrian coordination," Bashar Jaafari said.
