MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Russia's agricultural watchdog, Rosselchoznadzor, said Wednesday it will introduce temporary restrictions of imports of pepper and pomegranates from Turkey on March 17 as this produce does not meet Russia's food safety standards.
"Rosselkhoznadzor introduces on March 17 temporary restrictions on imports, including through third countries, of pepper and pomegranates produced in Turkey," the Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance said in a statement.
