12:20 GMT 18.03.2016 (Updated: 19:26 GMT 19.10.2022) Preparing for a unique trans-Arctic expedition slated for 2018, Russian engineers crafted a state-of-the-art all-terrain vehicle - the sole representative of its kind in the world.
In addition to its unprecedented terrain crossing capacity, the amphibious four-ton Burlak provides comfortable accommodation. It has four sleeping sections and a kitchen with gas burners for cooking, as well as a station for washing hands and a shower. The temperature inside the vehicle can be regulated by using the engine's heat.
