BRUSSELS (Sputnik) — Belgian police raided the notorious Molenbeek neighborhood after fingerprints of Paris attacks fugitive Salah Abdeslam had been found in a Brussels apartment. According to media reports, the police operation in Molenbeek is still underway.
"Two powerful explosions took place, but their exact nature is not clear yet," a RTBF correspondent said in a footage from the site.
Earlier in the day, Paris attacks mastermind Salah Abdeslam had been detained in the Brussels commune of Molenbeek.
