GENEVA (Sputnik) — The delegation arrived in Geneva on Wednesday to participate in intra-Syrian talks between Damascus and the opposition, which had resumed on March 14.
On Thursday, Ilian Masaad, the head of the Hmeymim group of the Syrian opposition, told Sputnik that the new Constitution for Syria drafted by the group envisages creation of a mixed parliamentarian-presidential republic.
Since 2011, Syria has been mired in a civil war, with government forces fighting a number of extremist militant groups and opposition factions.
