MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Norwegian energy giant Statoil's facility in the Algerian Sahara was attacked with explosive munitions on Friday, the company said in a statement.
"This morning, at approximately 06:00 local time [05:00 GMT], the In Salah Gas asset in Krechba was hit by explosive munitions fired from a distance," Statoil said.
The company added that its three employees at the facility were not injured in the bombing. It is not yet clear who is behind the attack.
