Scientists from the Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) developed a fireproof quadrocopter which can walk on walls like a spider.

Flying Firefighter: Here’s Another Sphere of Drone Use

Its body frame is covered with aramid fabric which protects the drone's electronics from fire. The device can land on vertical surfaces and move along them thanks to propellers.

The drone orientates itself by means of a laser scanner, a set of sensors, an altimeter and a stabilizer.

It has a thermal viewer to find people in smoke-filled rooms.
