MOSCOW (Sputnik) — According to the Almada Press news agency, the situation in the Iraqi capital is still volatile, with bombings occurring in different parts of the city almost every day, killing dozens of civilians.
"The cell was planning to send suicide bombers to Baghdad to attack civilians," Jawad Abd, the special service officer said at a press conference.
He added that suicide belts and explosives were seized during the searches.
