On Thursday, the children, 5-year-old Nika Kholodenko and 1-year-old Michela Kholodenko, were reportedly found slain in their beds in Benbrook, a suburb of Fort Worth, Texas. Tsygankova was also found there, with multiple knife injuries and in an "extreme state of distress."
