"We will move the embassy to the eternal capital of the Jewish people — Jerusalem," Trump told an audience of 18,000 people on Monday night. "Israel is forever a Jewish state and it must forever exist as a Jewish state."
Trump added that if elected US president, he would send a clear signal that there is no daylight between Israel and the United States.
"When I become president, the days of treating Israel like a second class citizen will end on day one… I will meet with Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu immediately," Trump said.
Trump also said he would not stay neutral in any peace negotiations between the Israelis and the Palestinians because there was no moral equivalency between them.
"In Palestinian society the heroes are those who murder Jews. We can’t let this happen any longer… They have to end education of hatred. They have to end it and to end it now… There is no moral equivalency," Trump told an audience of 18,000 participants at the conference.
