MOSCOW (Sputnik) — The Belgian Federal Agency for Nuclear Control expects the security level at the country's nuclear sites to be increased amid the blasts that hit the Belgian capital Brussels earlier in the day, a spokesperson for the agency told Sputnik on Tuesday, adding that it has necessary tools to control the situation.
“The security level has been raised to 4, I expect this would also be the case for the nuclear sites in Belgium but it is still to be confirmed. In any case we have the means and the tools to place the nuclear sites under the increased vigilance. But it is a bit too early to say,” the spokesperson said.
