ATHENS (Sputnik) – The Greek Foreign Ministry condemned Tuesday multiple blasts in Brussels, vowing to defeat terrorism through democracy.
"#Brussels, our Union's [the European Union] capital is under attack. We mourn the dead & pledge to conquer terror through democracy. Nous sommes tous bruxellois. [We are all from Brussels]," the Greek Foreign Ministry wrote on its official Twitter account.

Two explosions hit Brussels's Zaventem airport on Tuesday at around 8:00 a.m. local time (07:00 GMT). The explosion killed 13 people, and injured 35, according to the prosecutor's office in Brussels.
Shortly after the airport blasts, explosions were also reported at the Maalbeek and Schuman metro stations in the Brussels city center.
