MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Four Spanish citizens were wounded in the terrorist attacks in Brussels on Tuesday, acting Interior Minister Jorge Fernandez Diaz said.
"We have no information on casualties among the Spanish. According to the information of the consulate, four Spanish nationals were injured," the official told a press conference.
The official stressed that the Spanish Interior Ministry was in constant contact with Belgian authorities.
Earlier on Tuesday, at least 34 people were killed and some 230 injured in two bomb blasts in the Brussels Zaventem airport and an explosion at a metro station in the city.
Nationals of the United states, Portugal and other countries have been reported to be injured.
