WASHINGTON (Sputnik) — The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has enhanced security measures at major airports and transportation hubs following the deadly terrorist attacks in Brussels, US Homeland Security Secretary Jeh Johnson said in a statement on Tuesday.
"As a precautionary measure, TSA is deploying additional security to major city airports in the United States, and at various rail and transit stations around the country," Johnson stated.
Jeh Johnson also said that the US authorities have received no information on planned terrorist attacks in the country.
"At present, we have no specific, credible intelligence of any plot to conduct similar attacks here in the United States," Johnson stated.
