MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Several German citizens were wounded in the Brussels terrorist attacks on Tuesday and possible casualties are not excluded, the Germany Foreign Ministry said in a statement obtained by Sputnik on Wednesday.
“Unfortunately, we have to confirm that among the injured in the [Brussels] terrorist attack are German nationals, including at least one person seriously injured… According to all information we have so far, we cannot exclude, unfortunately, that Germans could have been killed in the terrorist attacks,” the statement reads.
