MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia’s State Arms Exporter Rosoboronexport currently has $45 billion-worth of military equipment orders from foreign clients, the press service of its parent organization, the Rostec corporation, said Thursday.
“At the moment Rosoboronexport’s portfolio of orders is worth $45 billion,” the press service said in a statement.
According to the statement, Latin America currently accounts for around 9 percent of the orders for defense equipment.
Rosoboronexport handles more than 85 percent of all Russian arms and military equipment exports. The state arms exporter cooperates with over 700 enterprises and organizations from the Russian defense industry and has signed deals with more than 70 countries.
