MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Moscow always welcomes the US officials’ visits conducted in a constructive atmosphere and facilitating progress on complicated issues, Russian President Vladimir Putin said Thursday.
"We always welcome your visits since they are always conducted in a very business-like atmosphere and give a chance to advance in solving serious issues," Putin stated after holding a meeting with US State Secretary John Kerry.
"We are really glad to see you, because all joking aside, as a rule, we manage to find some common ground and, leaning on this, move forward to address both bilateral and international issues," the Russian president stressed.

Earlier on Wednesday, Kerry landed in Moscow for a two-day visit, which is the first this year and the third over the past 12 months.
