MOSCOW (Sputnik) — Russia is capable of ensuring oil exports in 2016 at the level of last year, Deputy Energy Minister Kirill Molodtsov said Thursday.
"We are capable of exporting the volume of the previous year," Molodtsov told journalists when answering a question about the forecast of oil exports from Russia in 2016.
In 2015, the physical volume of oil exports amounted to 244.4 million metric tons, a 9.4-percent increase compared to 2014, according to Russia's Federal Customs Service.
Oil exports from Russia in value terms decreased by 41.8 percent last year and stood at around $89.6 billion compared to 2014.
