On March 24, 1999 NATO forces launched an airborne military operation against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia.
On March 24, 1999 NATO forces launched an airborne military operation against the Federal Republic of Yugoslavia. Despite the allegedly noble goals of this campaign, many innocent civilians were killed by NATO airstrikes and the country's civilian infrastructure was left in shambles.
