MOSCOW(Sputnik) — Seven UK nationals were injured in the attacks, three of whom are still receiving medical treatment at a hospital, according to the statement.
"We can confirm David Dixon lost his life in the attacks which took place in Brussels on Tuesday 22 March 2016. Our thoughts are with his family at this difficult time and our Embassy staff are continuing to support them," the Foreign Office said in a statement.
On Tuesday, two suicide blasts hit the departures hall of Brussels' Zaventem international airport and an explosion shook a subway carriage at the Maelbeek station, close to the EU institutions. Daesh terrorist group claimed responsibility for the attacks.
The deadly terror attacks in Brussels on Tuesday claimed the lives of at least 31 people and injured over 300.
