BEIJING (Sputnik) – Xi Jinping outlined the topics to be addressed during Putin’s visit in June "in order to further enhance mutual understanding and coordination on these issues."
The Chinese leader also called his meeting with Russian Chief of Staff Sergei Ivanov as a success. Ivanov said their meeting was focused on preparations for Putin’s travels to Beijing.
"I think you should visit us more often in the future to maintain successful communication and cooperation between the two leaders’ apparatuses in order to ensure cooperation between us," Xi said.
On November 30, 2015, Putin and Xi agreed to hold regular meetings to coordinate their stances on global events in the fast-paced world.
