MOSCOW (Sputnik) – Seoul will take any measure necessary to respond to Pyongyang’s provocations as South Korean citizens are becoming increasingly concerned over North Korea’s missile and nuclear activities, Prime Minister Hwang Kyo-ahn said Saturday.
"We should make efforts to beef up security for citizens as well as key infrastructure. What's important is that concerted efforts should be made to deter any provocations [from the North]," the minister said at a meeting with officials, as quoted by the Yonhap news agency, stressing that concerns over Pyongyang’s missile launches and nuclear tests were growing among the citizens.
Earlier this month, North Korean leader Kim Jong Un vowed to attack Seoul government buildings if South Korea were to challenge Pyongyang.
